Gail Porciello grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and started playing piano at 4 years of age. She started piano lessons at age 6 but never was able to want to learn to read music, much to her teacher’s chagrin. Her ability to hear the notes and create her own arrangements was more appealing and exciting than reading sheet music. Gail did attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston but discovered the world of performing and played the top piano bars in Boston. She taught herself to sing and became a well known entertainer. Gail moved to Cape Cod and took a 20 year hiatus from performing. After being asked to be the entertainment for 2 Dana-Farber Cancer Research fundraisers at The Ridge Club she became the resident entertainer at the Paddock Restaurant in Hyannis until its closing 2014. Gail plays and sings strictly by ear and her biggest musical influence is George Gershwin..
