Our McGraw Family Ceramics Studio is the former Low Low Low gas station, converted to a ceramics studio in 2019. It includes a pottery studio, which features ten wheels, a large clay extruder, a slab roller, a large array of tools and plenty of space for handbuilding. The sculpture studio is equipped with a rotating model platform, plenty of sculpture stands, specialist tools and a large collection of reference casts and books. Our glaze room includes a spray booth and a large selection of glazes for both dipping and brushing, while our kiln room houses a sizable front-loading electric kiln that can fire large pieces and along with our other top-loading kilns ensures the speedy firing of work once it had dried. Outside the building, a dedicated area allows us to stage alternative firings such as raku.
