Abstract-Acrylic

Abstract August: Acrylic Workshop

Come on, try something new! If you're a beginner to acrylics or abstract this workshop will inspire you. If you're familiar with one or both, try something different. Abstract art is not synonymous with chaotic design. It still relies on the elements of art (shape, value, line, color, contrast, form, and sometimes texture) within a space. So join other fellow students in a supportive atmosphere, and have some fun with a different creative experience. Rosalie will demonstrate each stage of the painting with ongoing individual guidance. They'll be helpful and informative hand-outs dispelling any reservations about your creative ability, and detailed info on the various acrylic supplies. Beginner to advanced skill levels welcome. For a $10 additional fee, payable at time of registration, all supplies will be provided for you. If you choose to bring your own supplies please see list below of all materials and paints and bring to first class. Bring a snack or lunch, if you wish.
