Art History with Marilyn: Ancient Times through the Middle Ages

Explore art with Marilyn Rossi in the second installment of her Art History series! In this 6-class course taught in a fun and relaxed setting, you'll examine art of prehistoric and ancient times and travel through the centuries, ending in the late Middle Ages, just before the dawn of the Renaissance.
Art History with Marilyn explores the familiar as well as lesser-known masterpieces through two-and-a-half millennia of art, where you will surely find some new favorites!
Led by Marilyn Rossi, an experienced art educator, museum guide, and historian who has studied extensively in Italy and has been affiliated with Boston's MFA and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Marilyn Rossi is an experienced foreign-language educator (Italian, Latin, Greek), translator, art historian, and museum tour guide. She was awarded both a Fulbright Scholarship and a Rockefeller Fellowship to study Italian in Umbria, and received the Grinspoon Foundation Teacher Award for excellence in teaching. We are thrilled she has joined us at the Center and look forward to more Art History offerings!
