Enjoy all the benefits of Barre...outside the dance studio! Join dance instructor/ powerhouse Susan Mendoza Friedman under the Summer Stage tent on the Schoolhouse lawn for a vitalizing workout in the fresh air, surrounded by nature! This class mixes elements of Pilates, dance, and yoga—all choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing workout, you’ll use the barre or mat to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Targeted exercises will increase your flexibility and balance. It may sound like Ballet…but it's NOT!
For all ages and fitness levels. No experience necessary. Come to Barre Under the Tent and leave feeling invigorated with new strength!
Attire: Comfortable exercise clothing, bare feet, or socks. Bring a yoga mat or a big towel.
Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
