A Drum Circle is a group of people from just a few to, say, 50, sitting in a circle experiencing the spontaneous creation of music on a variety of drums and World percussion. It evokes the universal rhythm inside of us all. Anyone can participate. No experience necessary.
This Drum Circle will not be facilitated, meaning there won’t be any conductor or coordinator, but there will be a set of basic guidelines posted. Drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system, produces feelings of well-being, and has a calming effect. Drums will be available, but bring your own if you have them. Dancers and wind players are also welcome! For more info, contact Sam Holmstock at email@example.com.
Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
