Kids, come and let your imaginations run wild as you create all sorts of exciting faces and figures with award winning sculptor Neil Grant! Each day, you’ll create a new piece starting with easy projects like masks and skulls, and building to some exciting works like portraits and action figures. For those with a little more experience or ambition, you’ll even be able to work on a single piece over the course of a few days.

We’ll be working in air dry clay, so you’ll be able to paint your work as well! This class is fun and imaginative, so sign up now!

All tools, clay, and paint supplied.

About Neil Grant

Neil Grant is an English representational sculptor who makes fine art through a slightly different lens. The winner of the 2018 Newby Patrons Award at the National Sculpture Society’s Annual Awards Exhibition, he combines technical skill with storytelling and humor.

Neil lives on Cape Cod where he sculpts out of his studio, and is part of the teaching faculty at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Neil regularly teaches sculpture classes to kids across the Cape, and was the guest artist for children visiting this year’s Winter Art Exhibit. Working with his daughters (‘Charlie of Science’ and ‘Sophie of Slimology’), he also hosts regular slime workshops for kids throughout the year.

Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
