Come to learn the basics and start your own knitting adventure, or bring your current project. An alternate monthly pattern will be shared that reflects our feminine power. If you are just beginning, bring a pair of size 8 knitting needles or crochet hook size H and 1 skein of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice.
Jennie learned to knit 10+ years ago because she wanted something to keep her busy mind occupied while she let her body stay still. She is an intermediate knitter, and happy to share what she can with others. These days, knitting provides a distraction from the frustrating state of our country by reminding her that there is a long history of women claiming power through their crafts. Jennie is a spiritual leader who recognizes the interconnectedness of us all and the natural world. When not hanging out with her infant first-grandchild in NH, she lives in Forestdale with her husband, Paul, and the cutest dog in the world, Pikku.
Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
