This class will introduce young students to the fundamentals of wheel-thrown pottery in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The class will begin with learning how to set up a wheel and wedge clay, and move into practicing throwing techniques including basic centering, throwing cylinders, and creating simple forms. Kids will have a great time as they develop their pottery skills and develop their hand-eye coordination.
