Attend for one day or two!
The Long Pose Open Studio is a great opportunity for sculptors, painters and sketchers to create with a full figure model over a multi-day pose, allowing you to work at your own pace with your own art.
Set in the new, beautifully-lit McGraw Sculpture Studio, participants can come for one day or two and can stay for as long or as little as they like between 10am and 4pm each day. Participants range from novices to professional artists and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and non-judgemental. The model holds a single pose for both days, giving plenty of time to complete a single detailed work or multiple pieces from different angles.
Easels and sculpture stands are provided, and clay can be purchased for $35 per bag including glazes and firing. Although this isn’t an instructed class, Director of Clay Arts, Neil Grant (email@example.com) supervises these sessions and is available for questions and comments.
Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
