If you’d like to try your hands at clay but you’re not sure where your interest lies, then this short but sweet class is the one for you. Over the course of three weeks, you can try your hand at the pottery wheel, hand building and sculpting with instructor Neil Grant. The class atmosphere is fun and friendly, and you’ll get to meet other new ceramic artists as you start your clay journey.
Neil Grant is an English representational sculptor who makes fine art through a slightly different lens. The winner of the 2018 Newby Patrons Award at the National Sculpture Society’s Annual Awards Exhibition, he combines technical skill with storytelling and humor.
Neil is the Director of Clay Arts for Cotuit Center for the Arts and chairs the Center’s Curatorial Committee. He is represented by Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown.
