Whether you've just finished your first wheel class, it's been a while and you'd like to get back into throwing or you're a practicing artist who just wants a few pointers, then this is a great class for you. Holly's decades of experience will meet you at whatever skill level you are at and help you develop your talents on the wheel. Whether it's working on your throwing skills (or refreshing them), developing your personal style, improving your finishing or enhancing your glazing, this class has you covered.
Holly Heaslip, B.S. Art Education, M.F.A., has worked in clay for over 45 years and continues to find magic in the process. Inspired by students, she has taught at Rochester Institute of Technology, The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, and Art Park in N.Y. State. She also works as the on-site program coordinator for The New England Craft Program at Snow Farm. Teaching Tai Chi is another of Holly’s passions.
Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
