Yoga to Soothe Your Soul, Spring 2020

Have you heard about the benefits of yoga but thought, “I can’t do those poses” or “I’m not flexible enough” or “I don’t want anyone to see me – I don’t know what I’m doing”? Then this program is for you! The goal of the program is to provide each person with knowledge and experience to continue their practice at a local studio, gym, or in their own home. Each week of this four-week program consists of a 90 min practice that provides the participant with yoga terminology, breathing techniques, meditation, and poses for different styles of yoga. If you want to experience the many benefits of yoga, this program will give you the knowledge and confidence to move forward with this rewarding practice. Registration is limited to 8 students—register now!

Sue Andersen is a 200 hr. Registered Yoga Teacher and holds certifications in Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga and additional training in Trauma Informed Yoga. She began her practice 8 years ago and has found balance and peace as a student and joy as a teacher. Meditation, mindfulness and breath work are the foundational elements that connect the physical to the spiritual practice, and are key to her teaching style. Whether it’s guiding a vinyasa, yin or a gentle yoga class, her goal is to help students find their own practice and enjoy all the benefits yoga brings.

Our classes and workshops are open to students of all abilities and needs. We are currently unable to provide one-on-one instruction, though we will make every attempt to address accommodations for full and successful engagement whenever possible.
If a student requires individual supports, parent/guardian/PCA/teacher/ABA Therapists/etc are welcome to attend.
