Clay is a versatile material, and when combined with imagination and talent it can be transformed into unexpected and delightful artworks. The artists selected for this exhibition are all masters of their craft who have taken clay beyond its conventional uses to create unconventional works of art that will intrigue and surprise the viewer, and spark the question,” How did they do that in clay?”. From huge cloud forms to Italian cities in clay to umbrellas, shard sculptures and incredible creatures, this exhibit shows the beauty and inventiveness of clay.
