Host Jim Ruberti, a Barnstable native, has hosted a series of comedy shows at the Cotuit Center for the Arts since 2019. He has debuted at the Key West Comedy Club and opened for Steve Sweeney, Christine Hurley and legendary Las Vegas Bad Boy Vinnie Favorito. He has been entertaining people for well over 30 years, starting as a child in the theaters of Cape Cod performing with Broadway actors such as John Raitt or Theodore Bikel, and progressing into roles as an adult at venues like the Barnstable Comedy Club. He has been a comic fundraising auctioneer and event host for more than 18 years. As a stand-up, he’s shared the stage with Boston headliners such as Lenny Clarke, Jimmy Dunn, Mike McDonald, Carolyn Plummer, Mike Donovan and Dave Rattigan.
