From a plunge in 2020, we are making steady progress in ticket sales, memberships, donations, and class tuition. Challenges continue with increased costs and fluctuating sales and attendance, and the persistent specter of COVID-19.

  • In 2022, we presented a full season of in-person performances, events, classes, and exhibits, while continuing to develop technology for video production and live-streaming
  • The John Weltman Outdoor Performance Pavilion hosted the joyous return of Entertainment Tonight, along with a summer full of family entertainment and concerts
  • Our Art Bus, the Marjorie Lynne, hit the road, to an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from local schools and community organizations

As we progress, we dream and plan. In 2023, with your support, we will continue to expand accessibility to the arts through efforts like the Art Bus Outreach, CapeCodCAN, Open Seat, and Pick Your Price programs.

As we recover, we will thoughtfully plan for future development and use of our campus.

Our year-end production of The Sound of Music carries a profound message of perseverance and hope for a world still recovering from the pandemic, facing new social and economic challenges along the way. The Center continues its steady progress up our mountain, with plenty of dreams for the future. We are grateful for those who are joining us on this climb – our volunteers, performers, artists, members, patrons, and donors. With the support of our community, we will continue to reach for those dreams. Your tax-deductible gift will help us make them a reality.

With gratitude, we wish you all the joy of the holiday season, and a very Happy New Year!
