LAURA BRISBANE is an LA-based singer-songwriter, with Cape Cod roots. Her voice floats above her six-string acoustic guitar work, conveying lyrics with depth, honest compassion, and keen observation. Laura recorded an EP in 2023, titled The Pulse of Tears. Released under the name Laura Calista, the EP couples guitar and synth instrumentation with an atmospheric simplicity that honors the intimacy and interiority of the songwriting. Last summer, Laura was part of a multi-city tour with musician Helen Ballentine’s indie folk project, Skullcrusher. Laura also collaborates with California musician Jake Burns in the Hidden Meadows duo. Her music can be found on streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
