CapeCodCAN! Brings “A Traveler’s Tale; of Roads, Rails, Wings and Sails” to Cotuit Center for the Arts

Cape Cod Collaborative Arts Network (CapeCodCAN!) presents “A Traveler’s Tale; of Roads, Rails, Wings and Sails,” on May 16, 17, and 18 at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Performances are 6 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2 PM on Sunday.

“CapeCodCAN! is proud to present its sixth annual musical revue,” said Malissa Kenney, director of operations at CapeCodCAN! an organization which provides inclusive programs in the performing and visual arts for teens and adults of all abilities.

Written by CapeCodCAN! founder Jim Hurley, “A Traveler’s Tale” celebrates the unique talents of people of all abilities on the Cape. The story finds Dawkins' Travel is in need of a marketing campaign that will motivate tourists to take a journey with them. Pride Advertising has a plan to show travel modes and destinations in an exciting new light. “Come with us for a musical review,” said Hurley, “and ‘Let Dawkins get there with confidence!’”

The show features the talents of 70 CapeCodCAN members, in partnership with eight Cape-wide agencies and programs, including LIFE (Living Independently Forever), Habilitation Assistance Corporation, Community Connections, Inc., Palaemon House, a residential program for young adults with learning disabilities, and Latham Center.

The show is sponsored in part by grants from the Mass Cultural Council, Sandwich and Mid Cape Cultural Councils.

Tickets for “A Traveler’s Tale; of Roads, Rails, Wings and Sails” are $25. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit artsonthecape.org or call 508-428-0669.
