Press Release: Hey, Blondie! in Concert on the Outdoor Stage

Cotuit Center for the Arts is pleased to welcome back Hey Blondie! This Boston-based Blondie tribute band will be performing in the John Weltman Outdoor Performance Pavilion, aka “Tangletuit,” on Saturday, September 9 at 7:30pm.

Pioneering the way for American Punk and stepping out into the new wave sound, Blondie was iconic for its style, trend, and left a mark on our music culture. To embody the magic of Debbie Harry and Chris Stein is not an easy task, but Hey Blondie is as close as it gets! Our own Boston-based Hey Blondie will rock your socks off so hard you’ll need a new pair! They bring the attitude and style of this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band right to the stage.

The band is composed of some all-star south Shore musicians. Now, this is not the first time Mike G & Linda Twiss have entertained us here in New England. You might recognize Mike from his radio days at WFNX/WZLX and Linda from her award winning dance studio out of Weymouth. They remain pretty humble, but love to entertain communities with arts and culture constantly. One Way or Another, Hey Blondie! will blow the roof off and pack the dance floor with a truly Atomic set.
