Cotuit Center for the Art is pleased to welcome back Scamps Comedy with Jim Ruberti & Friends! Dave Rattigan headlines with feature Andrea Henry and host Jim Ruberti as hysterically funny stand-up comedy returns to Cotuit Center for the Arts on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30pm.

“Jim Ruberti & Friends: Dave Rattigan and Andrea Henry” will be presented in the intimate setting of the Lower Gallery, by Cotuit Center for the Arts and Scamps Comedy Productions.

Cape Cod’s favorite fishing comedian, Jim Ruberti is a Boston comedian and Barnstable resident who has hosted comedy at the Center since 2019. He’s the regular host for most Scamps Comedy shows at the Cotuit Center for the Arts. He has been a comic fundraising auctioneer and event host for more than 16 years, and a stand-up comedian working stages around New England. As a stand-up, he’s shared the stage with Boston headliners such as Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Paul Nardizzi, Christine Hurley, and Jimmy Dunn.

Known for his dead-pan delivery and quick, dry wit, Dave Rattigan is a New England headliner whose CD has received airplay on SiriusXM Satellite Radio and radio stations around the world. An old divorced dad with a young daughter, Rattigan has gained new perspective as he tries to unravel the world’s most difficult mystery, the mind of a 17-year-old girl. That’s just one area the veteran Boston comedian covers in his act, which he’s performed at such diverse venues as the Cape Cod Melody Tent, Fenway Park, dive bars, bowling alleys, hospitals, libraries, and office parks. He’s appeared in regional television commercials on NESN, multiple times on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show, and in low-budget movies including Heavy Times. He’s written funny columns for the Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor and others and his video clips have run on Nickmom.com and Rooftop Comedy. He’s a regular at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival and has appeared in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and Salem Comedy & Spirits Festival. He’s also co-host of the provocative true crime podcast Crime Solvers: Means, Opportunity, Motive.

Andrea Henry has appeared on Nickelodeon's Search for America's Funniest Mom, Last Comic Standing and The Great Canadian Laugh Off, and has participated in Comedy fests across the country: Limestone, Maine, Boston, Women in Comedy, Chicago Women's Funny Festival, Rogue Island and Memphis Urban Laughs. She writes jokes for Us Weekly Magazine's Fashion Police and is the co-author of Real Kids Jokes by Real Stand-Up Comics. She has also produced and starred in a funny documentary film about entering and losing the Mrs. Massachusetts Beauty Pageant.
