Looking for something fun, exciting, and different to do with the kids during the upcoming 2022 February school vacation week? Cotuit Center for the Arts has two fantastic family-friendly programs to choose from! Get wild with Bethany Jakubson and her amazing animals at 10:00am on February 22nd & 23rd, and then join the Amazing Richard & Company for magic, mystery and fun at 2:00pm on February 23rd & 24th. Make a trip to the Center this February school vacation to enjoy one or both of these daytime activities—perfect for kids of every age!

Amazing Animal Ambassadors
Tuesday and Wednesday, February 22 & 23 at 10:00am
Tickets: $15/$12 for CCftA Members

The goal of Amazing Animal Ambassadors is to bring the natural wonders of our planet right to you! Their live animal shows are designed for any age and are sure to amaze. With a unique variety of animals such as parrots, exotic mammals, large reptiles, and even insects from around the globe, Amazing Animal Ambassadors creates an experience unlike any other. You might meet Boomerang the Kookaburra, Big Red the Tegu, or Milo the Fennec Fox—and that’s just the beginning! Owner Bethany Jakubson and her animal co-educators will allow kids to get up close and personal with all kinds of amazing animals, handled by an experienced presenter for a safe and fun experience. You might even forget you’re learning something at the same time!

Wednesday and Thursday, February 23 & 24 at 2:00pm
Tickets: $15 all seats

Magic, Mystery, and Fun for ages 3–103! Join the Amazing Richard & Company and thrill to their inventive and amazing illusions, featuring acts such as “The Floating Kid,” “Magical Snow Storm,” “Houdini Escape Trunk,” and much more! A member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians, Richard Archer (aka “The Amazing Richard") has been practicing Magic since he was eight years old and performing since he was twelve. Now, as owner of Archer Magicworks, The Amazing Richard dazzles audiences of all ages with interactive, astounding magic shows that are full of magical energy, fun, and wonder. In the words of Ashley, a 6-year-old audience member, “That was the best magic show I’ve ever seen!”

Proof of vaccination or negative Covid test results are required to attend the above events. Patrons are required to be masked at all times.
